The plantation derived its name from its location on at the apex of the Ponmudi Hills. Ponmudi Estate is an organization Certified by IMO Control, member of IMO Group Switzerland according to NPOP and Regulation (EEC) No 2092 / 91. Organic Tea is grown without the use of pesticides, artificial fertilizers and sewage sludge, and they are processed without ionizing radiation or food additives. This tea is cultivated with natures solutions for pest control and environmental protection. Tea is planted and harvested according to lunar cycles to extract the healthiest crop with the most stimulating flavKURIEN E KALATHIL.
