K Marketing comply Pty Ltd was founded in Australia by Ms Maria Makrides in 1993, to market her patented Cake Divider and Cutter Australian Patent PK 6283-International Patent PCTAU9000232. When Ms. Makrides decided to repatriate in Cyprus, M. M. A Marketing Ltd was founded in 2003 as to enable her to market her patented product from Cyprus. BUSINESS BACKROUNDMs Makrides has spent much of her life in the Restaurant business since her arrival in Australia in 1969. Working, learning, managing and owning restaurants. By 1981 she owned and managed the Athenian Night Restaurant, A restaurant which seated 350 people and employed 19 staff. In 1982 she leased the Bacio Cafe from the owner, which she also managed for 12 months. In 1983 until 1985 she was owner and manager of the Green House which she sold as to travel overseas for 12 months. In 1986 and 1987 Ms Makrides worked in various positions in different coffee lounges. whilst researching the location for her next venture. In 1988 she created the Alpino. The Alpino stated as a coffee lounge, then Ms Makrides worked her way through the licensing process and was canted a liquor license in 1989 which enabled her to transform the coffee lounge into separate areas, comprising a cafe, a Restaurant, a Tavern, a Bar which was licensed until 3. 00 am and an upstairs area set aside for Billiards. From 1988 to 1993 Ms Makrides while still running the Alpino, had been working through the required processes to convert her idea to a marketable product. She founded the Company M. A. K Marketing and closed the Alpino in 1993. She has since devoted all her energy surmounting the challenges involved in making her idea a reality and meeting the requirements of the market place from a new perspective. THE INVENTION1988 was the year Ms. Makrides had an idea for a cake divider. Waste had always been a sM. M. A MARKETING LTDce of irritation to her. Expensive cakes, which were sold by the slice in restaurants, dried out before they could be sold and were wasted, Her invention cuts a cake into equal slices and protects each cut from the air until each piece is ready to be soldor eaten. COMMERCIAL VERSIONShe has both a commercial and a domestic version produced. The commercial version has transparent blades which are made from Polycarbonate, which is a very strong material ensuring a quality product while enhancing the presentation and preserving the freshness of elaborate cakes. The commercial version is being well received and is being sold by direct marketing. THE PRODUCTThe Cut n Stay Fresh is a product simple and unique to the market with no known competition. It is well made and designed with ease of operation and cuts up to 12 slices or multiples thereof. 12, 8, 6 and 4It is non-stick, easy to clean, time and cost saving, especially to the commercial user. It is well packaged.
