This has resulted in the mechanics spending more time repairing than waiting for parts to arrive. History: Magnum Diesel Parts began operations in April of 2003. Initial focus of the business was to develop custom after market gasket sets for Caterpillar 3400 series engines. This was completed in July of 2003. August of 2003 was when Magnum Diesel Parts first started to sell gasket kits. August also marked when Magnum started development of custom gasket kits for other engine series. This included full gasket sets for Caterpillar 3300 series engines and cylinder head replacement gasket kits for Caterpillar 3500 series engines, Detroit Diesel Series 60 engines, and Cummins 350 Big Cam 1/2/3 engines. These additional products started to be offered in April 2004. Magnum is currently in the process of developing gasket kits for Caterpillar 3116 engines.
