I had an office in dhaka for the last 15 years which I closed last year and came back to Delhi because Indian market has more items of exports than Bangladesh. We hv been supplying garments, such as t. Shirts, shorts, pants, jeans,3-pc woollen suits, pants, sweaters, jackets etc. From Bangladesh for the last 15 years. Before that I was working with sears, roebuck and co. Of u. S. A. As their regional resident buyer looking after India, srilanka, Pakistan and Bangladesh makets. I worked with sears for 16 years from 1972 to jan.1989. As such I have good contacts in all the four markets. I retired from sears in 1989 and started my own buying office in dhaka which I closed last year and moved back to India. At present I am working with two u. S. Importers who are buying sequin tops & dresses and two Canadian importers with whom I am working for the last 12 years. They are buying thru me t. Shirts and costume jewellery from Indian market.
