Jesus Balmaseda discovered the deposits of gems of rose quartz (ALBA I y ALBA II, Caceres). Now, they are considered to be the best of the world by the Swiss Gemmological Society for quality and beauty of its gems. In 1985 MIBA SA is created and we iniciate the extraction works following respectful criteria with the environment. Our trademark In 1990 we wanted to give a step forward in our project, carving and elaborating our gems. The carving is made, one by one with beautiful and atractive shapes for there are no equal pieces. For MIBA design is a priority for which we have a team of recognized artists, designers and polishers between we can stand out for his decisive implication in our project D. Cesar Manrique, worldwide known, who did an exclusive collection of necklaces (New shapes for Women) as works of art (Arquitecture for Life).
