• About Us : From an idea to the finished product Not many companies today have the capacity to represent all segments of the production process, from design, prototype construction, casting, processing by particle separation, MIV d.d.lding, surface protection, assembly and testing manufactured parts. Metalska industrija Varazdin d. d. is one of few European companies featuring a foundry and a machine processing plant at the same location. 90 percent of total production is various fittings, and 10 percent is tailor-made casts and products used for arrangement of public spaces. In addition to over 3, 000 standard products for which the Company is well known all over the world, it manufactures tailor-made products. Over 30, 000 different types of products have been manufactured so far. Through business cooperation with large European manufacturers of fittings, Metalska industrija Varazdin d. d. today exports over 70% of its products. Fittings are exported to markets of all continents and 40 countries (among others, Quatar, Egypt, Saudi Arabia, United Arab Emirates, Holland, Germany, Poland, Hungary, Sweden) , and are installed in water and sewer systems of many world's metropolises, such as Cairo, Dubai, Zagreb, Berlin, Amsterdam, Belgrade, Budapest. With annual production of over 9, 000 tons of cast (ing) s and over 8, 000 tons of fittings and parts, Metalska industrija Varazdin d. d. numbers among the largest manufacturers of such equipment in Europe.
