We are distributors for ellsworth cheese curds, the freshest most delicious cheese curds available anywhere! Cheese curds are all we do and we do them well! If you don't have cheese curds on your menu now, or if you're not familiar with them, you're in for a big treat! Cheese curds are the perfect nutritious, low carb, protein and calcium snack for the increasingly health conscious customer. What are cheese curds? Simply put, they are sqeaky fresh, delectable cheddar cheese bite sized morsels in natural random shape and form before being processed into blocks. They are the freshest result of the cheese making process. After fresh raw milk and cheese ingredients have been stirred and cured, curds begin to form. The curds are scooped off the whey and packaged. They can be served hot or cold or can be breaded and deep-fried. They make a wonderful appetizer, side dish or take out treat! Our curds come in convenient packages. There are 10 pounds (pre-breaded) in one case and 12 pounds (non-breaded) in one case. There are approximately 65 curds in a pound.
