- About Us : Dear sir, Modern Art & Craft Modern Art & Craft is manufacturing & export company based in western province of India known as Rajasthan. The company is involved in manufacturing & export of different kind of wooden/wrought iron furniture & handicrafts. We have in house production unit for most of our wooden & iron products. We are also involved in sourcing/trading of textiles & gift articles from other parts of India. Our wooden furniture is made up of Sheesham, accasia and mango wood. Shesham wood is redwood with grain (rosewood), Accasia is hardwood, and Mango is little softer and less weight then accasia and Sheesham. The wood is chemically treated in pressurized chemical chamber for termite/bug resistance & then dried up in sesoning kilns to get the moisture level of wood below 8% .. The wooden furniture is finished in various shades like teak, walnut,rosewood,antique & natural wax or stains & lacquer. The wrought iron furniture & handicraft is done in black antique or powder coated. It can also be plated with nichel,bronze & copper etc. Furthermore we are always open to new/customized sizes & design given by our clients and we can do our products as per their specification.
