- About Us : <br> <br>Mackerel are maritime fish that are caught <br />eastern coastal area of Japan. <br />There are two types of mackerel, common and southern mackerels. <br />The difference of the two common mackerel is the size and the shape. <br />Common mackerel is larger and lean and good for processing. <br />Southern mackerel has dark spots in the belly and rather round body. <br />Murakane Fishery Co., Ltd. have good fishing ground for southern mackerel in the coastal area of Yaizu where we are located and we have large fish haul throughout the year. <br />Many of the fish processing companies in Japan process the mackerel and freeze them before <br />shipping them out. The packing methods are regular cardboard packing and freezer pallet <br />packing. <br />The size of the cardboard varies from 10kg, 15kg to 20kg. We can tie the cardboard box <br />with plastic belt and put the plastic label on it. <br />As per the freezer pallet packing, we put13kg of mackerel and 2kg of water then freeze it and <br />make 15kg package. The size and shape of the pallet, volume of the fish vary. We also are able <br />to put the fish in the plastic bag. <br /><br><br>
