The firm handled export of Tea & Decicated Cocanut from<br/>Sri Lanka. The company's owner was my father. I was in the mangement of the company looking after the overseas business & banking. MRM. Muthiah Chettiar was a Muthiah Thenappanll known<br/>& a leading company in Colombo. As we are Indian nationals. I left Colombo and settled down in India & started a business in the same line of activity in 1958 at Chennai. I started exporting Indian made hand loom and power loom textiles and fabrics including ready-made garments from India. I had an agency office at Bangkok & Hong Kong from where I organised exports of pulses such as Green Mung Beans, Black Matpe, Seasame seeds etc. , to India, UAE & Saudi Arabia. <br/>Presently I am in Chennai and the name of my Firm is M. Thenappan. <br/>I am registered as an Importer & Exporter with an IE code issued by Govt India. <br/>I am a trader as well as an indenting agent. I have my clients In Mumbai, Chennai Delhi and Calcutta in India.
