Until 1982, the main business revolved mainly around buying and selling coconut oil, copra and other byproducts of the coconut. During the successive years the company was able to have it's own coconut extraction plant. The company took statutory status as n. M. K. Products & agencies lanka (pvt) ltd. In 1982 diversifying it's activities to the international markets to import of edible oil, sugar, fats, margarine & bakery ingredients, wheat flnmk edible oil products s/b, milk & whey powder and other edible commodities. The exports are mainly renowned sri lanka black tea in bulk, packed and personalized, edible oil products, desiccated coconut, coir fiber, coir pith & byproducts.
