- About Us : Odus Wrought Iron Ltd is the flgship of Odus Group. The other members are-Odus Foam and Jomess Petroleum. The company is cottage family business founded and managed by Mr John Ola Odumeso (55) . He started off as an artisan-ODUS WROUGTH IRON LTD.lder-after his primary education and apprenticeship in eafly 7o's. Initially, in was purely into wrought iron metal furniture before the furniture industry was overtaken and subsequently ostensibly phased out by the wooden furniture. However, with the advent of rental business in the country which was initialy using stackable metal chairs, he veered into canopy making. Howbeit, he didn, t stop marketing foam products-mattresses and pillows which he was selling to compliment the sales of his own fabricated metal products-bed. He went further into manufacturing of foam in early 90's. Also, with the liberilization of the petroleum industry in the country, he ventured into petoleum products-pms (petrol) , ago (diesel) and dpk (kerosene) marketing, using his knowlegde as a 'veteran' welder to do most of the construction work like the underground tanks. Now, he has three filling stations. Having finshed his university education, his first child and son-Emmanuel 'Tayo Odumeso-has joined him in running the business, using his chemical engineering knowlegde to take the different to the next level
