Subsequently,&nbsp;&nbsp;in&nbsp;&nbsp;the&nbsp;&nbsp;60's&nbsp;&nbsp; alongwith&nbsp;&nbsp;Volkart&nbsp;&nbsp;Ltd.&nbsp;&nbsp;with&nbsp;&nbsp;interests&nbsp;&nbsp;in&nbsp;&nbsp; shipping,&nbsp;&nbsp;travel,&nbsp;&nbsp;ginning and the&nbsp;&nbsp;cotton trading&nbsp;&nbsp;activities. Later there was merger&nbsp;&nbsp;with&nbsp;&nbsp;Gokak&nbsp;&nbsp;Mills Ltd. to form Gokak Patel Volkart Ltd. which was quoted on the Bombay Stock Exchange. <br /> <br />Patel&nbsp;&nbsp; brother&nbsp;&nbsp;in&nbsp;&nbsp;the&nbsp;&nbsp;meanwhile&nbsp;&nbsp;had&nbsp;&nbsp; taken&nbsp;&nbsp;up&nbsp;&nbsp;agencies&nbsp;&nbsp;for&nbsp;&nbsp; a&nbsp;&nbsp;number&nbsp;&nbsp;of&nbsp;&nbsp;foreign manufacturers of industrial products. Here we have over 90%&nbsp;&nbsp;of&nbsp;&nbsp;the&nbsp;&nbsp;market&nbsp;&nbsp;share&nbsp;&nbsp;for these preparations.
