The Bixin is extracted from annatto seeds in form of Bixin Powder. The Bixin is extracted from annatto seeds by way of counter current solvent extraction in which Hexane and Acetone are used successively. Initially Hexane Solvent is used to remove the fat content. Further, Acetone extraction is carried on the acetone miscella is further distilled to get slurry. The resultant slurry is dried in a Vacuum self drier to get Bixin Powder. The daily capacity is 500kg of annatto seeds yielding 15kg of Bixin powder containing 30 to 50 % Bixin We would like to supply the above Bixin powder or formulation in the from of water soluble Nor Bixin or oil soluble Bixin(Single and Double Strength) Hope to here from you soon
