Prime Electric Ltd. have established a State-of-the-Art manufacturing facility for manufacturing High Voltage Power Transformers ranging up to 1000 MVA / 500kV in the first phase with a production capacity of 10000 MVA per annum. This capacity would be enhanced to 35000 MVA in second phase which would cover transformer in the range of 765 kV and 1200kV class. Spread over 100 acres of land our plant is situated in a Special Economic Zone (SEZ) located at Naidupet, near Krishnapatnam in Andhra Pradesh, a Southern State in India having excellent connectivity to three major ports (Krishnapatnam, Ennore and Chennai Ports) within a radius of 150 kilometer from the plant.Our Technical Collaborator OSC VIT which is a part (division) of OJSC Elektrozavod is one of the largest Transformers manufacturing company in the world established in the year 1928.Ours is one of the largest and the most well planned and fully equipped modern state-of-the-art manufacturing facility in the country, comparable to the best across the world with the latest and the most modern machines such as swing shear technology based, CRGO cutting and slitting machines from George Group of Germany, a world leader in this field. Also the latest and the most advanced EHV static test system from High Volt of Germany, who are also a world leader in the field of EHV testing of power transformer since 1904. Our manufacturing facility also includes core building lifting platform, coil up ender, horizontal and vertical winding machines, Isostatic press for sizing of the coils, vapor phase drying plant for final dryout etc., from world class manufacturers. We have in house PICC plant and the entire winding area and core-coil assembly area is air conditioned and humidity controlled to eliminate dust and moisture to ensure world class quality standards.We have a team of highly qualified, experienced and motivated professionals with excellent skills sets in the relevant industry to ensure manufacturing of power transformer matching international quality standards.
