Description HPMC stands for hydroxypropyl methyl cellulose ether.This product is a non-ionic cellulose ether, appears to be white powder, odorless. It is soluble in water?most of the polar organic solvents and the appropriate proportion of ethanol/water, propyl alcohol/water and ethylene dichloride, etc., not soluble in the ether, acetone, ethanol. In cold water it is swelled to clear or slightly turbid colloidal solution with high transparency and stable performance. In building, as water retention and retarder agent of mud slurry, it makes the mortar suitable to flow by pump. As a binder for ceramic tile, marble, plastic , it improves the workability, extending the operational time and reduces the dosage of cement.The properties of the water retention will prevent crack from being dried too fast.
