Currently the company has capacity of 65,000 tpa of PSF, 100,000 tpa of PFY and 115,000 tpa of various grades chips.Spun YarnsThe division accounts for nearly 21 per cent of the company's revenue. With capacity of 191,000 spindles and nearly 54 per cent of its output being exported, the company is one of the largest exporters of spun yarn in Indonesia.FabricsThe company's current installed capacity is 30 million metres per annum of grey fabrics and 26 million metres per annum of dyed and printed fabrics.Captive Power PlantIndorama Synthetics has set up a 60-mw power plant (2x30mw) to take care of the present and future power requirements of the petrochemical and yarns production complex in Indonesia. The combined cycle generation captive power plant of 60 mw.PT Indorama has consistently demonstrated its high level of capacity utilisation, which is far ahead of its peers both in Asia and globally. Since 1994, the company has witnessed a polyester production CAGR of 10 per cent p.a., ahead of the global polyester CAGR of 9 per cent p.a. The average level of capacity utilisation of the company also consistently remains between 105 to 120 per cent versus the global average ranging between 75 per cent and 90 per cent.The company has made efforts to expand and diversify its markets as much as possible. Significant initiatives have been taken towards this direction by increasing exports to regions such as Eastern Europe. Indorama now exports to over 90 countries covering all the five continents across the globe.The fabric division started operations in 1994 with the weaving of greige fabrics. Subsequently, facilities for processing and finishing 100 per cent polyester filament fabrics were added.The fabric processing facility employs know-how from Komatsu Seiren of Japan, one of the world's largest polyester fabric manufacturers. The Fabrics Division offers a one-stop shop for fabrics created from a new generation of polyester filament yarns, replicating the properties of cotton, wool, silk and linen. Laminated fabrics have been recently added to the wide range of products.The weaving facility uses Japanese water jet looms and its suppliers have acknowledged that the weaving machines at Indorama Synthetics are operating at the highest efficiencies in the country. All fabrics are available in greige, dyed and printed form, in 44" and 58" finished widths.
