Our company is a foreign investment in Indonesia, with our head office S. F Wood Products Pte Ltd based in Singapore. Established as a manufacturer in Indonesia since 1990, we are currently one of the biggest wooden flooring manufacturers in Indonesia, with a monthly export capacity of around 120 x 20' containers. At this moment, we are exporting to 24 countries around the world including Germany, France, Malaysia, Japan and Australia. In September 2006, we have formally joined the WWF Indonesia FTN as a Trade Participant. This membership will form the basis of our company's future direction and demonstrates our commitment, via a step-wise approach, to responsible sourcing of our raw material. We recognize that we have to be responsible as a manufacturer, thus we have started programs like re-forestation, making sure that our materials comes from known legal sources and also to encourage our supply chain to work towards certification. We are working with a few organizations for their verification and certification programs including CERTISOURCE (WWW. Certisource. Net) . Certisource provides DNA verification of timber source. Using various technologies, they independently verify that logs and derived products can be traced back to a Known Licensed Source.
