A Ramco Group unit, was established in the year 1939 in South India with the objective to manufacture Surgical Dressings like Absorbent Cotton, Gauze and Bandage and has a consistent record of catering to this segment to the complete satisfaction of the consumers. The company has since added Plaster of Paris Powder, POP Bandage, Steri Pads, Lap Sponges etc. To its manufacturing range. This is the only company in India manufacturing these products in the organized sector. The company attaches greater importance to the systems and procedures for effective compliance of quality standards. The company has manufacturing facilities at two places which are fully equipped with production machinery for the manufacture of these products and full fledged laboratories are in operation for analysis of all the parameters specified in Drug standards. Keeping in mind environmental concerns the company has Effluent Treatment Plants at both the units. The company has an ETO Sterilization unit to manufacture sterilized products.
