- About Us : Rentzos Ceramics has been dealing in the art of traditional handmade pottery for several years now. Our family business was born as an idea in 1944, a while after the war when Rentzos brothers' father made his first attempt at working the wheel in the heart of pottery , in Marousi. His sons followed in his footsteps at the age of 12. Marousi-born artisans, they proved to be ready to establish their own company in Saint Stefano in 1982. Our eagerness and love for creation has grown and carried the company forward in Greece as well as abroad. Our family business aims to keep holding the reins of the traditional handmade greek vase, no matter how much pottery tends to be industialized. The quality and the uncountable handmade artworks of our vessels in classic and modern style and the wide range of colours in enamel are what make us a top choice. An impressive array of our earthenware products is available to you in our 400sq-metre exhibition premises. The warm earthy hues on cyons of different rthyms for bench construction or tables and the longidunital consoles complete with mirrors or shelves for your books are bound to impress you. The handmade onwall presentations in natural colours and the creation of address plates in customised sizes and colours are also our speciality.There is also a wide range of regular and enameled flower pots both for indoor and outdoor use. Our fire resistant crockery,which is proper for use in stoves, electric or gas ovens and fireplace makes your cooking healthy and delicious trapping all the flavours and nutrients within without making a mess of your oven. In this way, your meals are both tasty and light since there is no need for extra fat or oil on your meat. In our traditional mixing bowls, you can make your own bread, brioche, cruller,cookies. The wine jars and clay glasses that accompany them serve and keep your wine cool preserving it from its aroma loss. Besides, clay is the only ecologic raw material, which has been used since ancient times. Why not focus on the quality of our food?
