Brief history of our company is as under. You may also visit our web site, ***** and get more details. 1) Under technical collaboration and financial participation with World Renowned Chicago Pneumatic Company, USA, we commenced manufacture of Blast Hole and Water Well drills in our plant in Coimbatore, India, in the year 1979. 2) During the mid 80s, Atlas Copco, Sweden took over Chicago Pneumatic and thereby we became a group company of Atlas Copco, Sweden. 3) All along we are a public limited company and our shares are traded in the Indian Stock market. Till the year 2002, Atlas Copco held 40% equity in our company and during 2002/2003, Renaissance, a well known Indian group purchased the share holding from Atlas Copco. 4) In the last 30 years we have been manufacturing and supplying all types of Blast Hole drills used in the open cast mines and the population of these rigs have crossed over 1000 numbers. 5) We have a huge population of blast hole drills in India and we are one of the two leading players in India. Our drills are working in various Coal, Iron Ore, Zinc, Lime stone and phosphate mines of India. 6) After establishing ourselves as a reputed supplier in India we ventured our export activity and we have successfully exported our drills to Jordan, Tunisia, Morocco, Serbia, USA, South Africa, Brazil, Indonesia etc. 7) Bucyrus International, USA signed an agreement with us to manufacture a certain range of drills to be sold. This agreement was valid between Oct 2005 to Oct 2010. This agreement also covered marketing worldwide our entire product range. During this period we manufactured to International standards three models of drills (6 inch to 9 inch size) and these were sold to many countries by Bucyrus. After Bucyrus acquiring Terex (REED drills) this agreement was not extended because of conflict of interest. We are now free to export our drills worldwide. It may be of interest for you to note that our drills are working in South Africa, Morocco, Tunisia Jordan, Serbia, Brazil and Indonesia We have two modern plants in Southern Part of India, one in Chennai and the other in Coimbatore. Apart from Blast Hole and Water Well drills, we also manufacture Concrete Equipment such as Truck Mixers, Batching Plants and Concrete Pumps. All these products are backed by German Collaborators.. Since we are now free to export our drills worldwide, we have embarked on an ambitious Export Marketing plan. We have started looking for competent alliance partners to distribute our drills.
