- About Us : SAMI LABS LIMITED(SAMI), formerly Sami Chemicals and Extracts Ltd. Was established in April 1991. SAMI is engaged in the manufacture and export of standardized herbal extracts, fine chemicals, spice oleoresins etc. SAMI manufactures and supplies bulk products(i. E. Standardized herbal extracts, fine chemicals, etc. ) for SABINSA CORPORATION(USA). SAMI started its activities in 1991 beginning with Merchant Exports. In the same year, SAMI started a small laboratory to develop new manufacturing processes and analytical methods for new products. A small-scale industrial unit was set up in 1992 at Singasandra, Bangalore to manufacture herbal extracts and fine chemicals. The company's manufacturing facilities are in Kunigal, Mysore, Singasandra and Nelamangala. The total investment in all the units, including capital work in progress, is about Rs.25 crores. This includes the investment in the R&D center at Peenya(about Rs.6 crores to date). SAMI has always focused on market-oriented research. The development of new products is based on feedback from the International Market received through Sami Labs Ltd marketing company, SABINSA. SABINSA offers nearly 60 products(i. E. Standardized herbal extracts, fine chemicals, spice oleoresins, etc. ), which are well diversified in terms of range.
