San Gines was born in Talavera de la Reina in 1999 of the hand of Monica Garcia del Pino Beneitez, great-granddaughter of Juan Ruiz de Luna Rojas (1908 to 1961) , creator of the RVIZ DE LVNA firm, one of the most recognized factory of artistic ceramics around the world. At the present, there is a RVIZ DE LVNA Ceramics Museum in Talavera de la Reina, Toledo, Spain. Monica has received her technical and artistic education in the Art School of Talavera de la Reina, making studies about ceramic materials and restoration. San Gines Talavera work handcraft in San Gines, with very well-selected row materials, processes, and decorations. Our personality is shaped in every one of the pieces we make, keeping the traditional flavour of ceramics taking care of the necessities of today. This characteristic is transmitted in all our works.
