Saudi Rockwool Factory is a member of (GIG) Gulf Insulation Group which provides the local and international market with numerous construction and industrial materials.Responding to the constructional and industrial development in the Kingdome and the region, Saudi Rockwool Factory was established in 1992 located in the third industrial area south of Riyadh occupying an area of 30,000 m2 to meet the local and international growing needs of Rockwool which is one of the best known thermal, acoustical and fire insulation materials, the availability of its raw materials locally was another driving factor to establish this industry, the factory is employing over 160 highly trained personnel.The factory is divided into two main sections; the first section contains three production lines and it is involved in producing dark gray wool with a capacity of 5,000 tons/year. The second section contains tow production lines and it is involved in producing yellow wool with a capacity of 15,000 tons/year, due to the growing demand the production capacity was increased twice to reach 22,500 tons/year, using the stat of the art equipment and machinery. The main raw materials used in the production of Saudi Rockwool Factory are lime stone and basalt which is available in the K.S.A abundantly, other materials used in production such as resin, aluminum sheet, wire mesh, fiber glass, etc, are imported from different specialized companies involved in this sector.The factory is operated by a high qualified and experienced team, to present the best products and services to saudi rock wool industries valued clients.Quality was and still our goal, as part of our commitment to quality, we perform regular product testing, both locally and internationally, against the highest standards levels.
