<br/>
<br/>We are a family business situated in the heart of "Ccoconut Triangle"
<br/>in North Western Province of Sri Lanka. Coconuts are grown as estates
<br/>or by individuals. Coconut husk chips are delivered to our factory
<br/>after removing the coconut where we use them for our raw material
<br/>production. As we are situated and using the coconut grown well inside
<br/>the coastal area our products do not have the excessive salt issue.
<br/>
<br/> * What is the business capacity to produce 40 ft container ?
<br/>
<br/>Our production time to produce 5kg cocopeat blocks 40 ft container is
<br/>3-4 days with 2 shifts a day. With a single shift a day we are able to
<br/>produce a 40 ft container with in 6-7 days. We are able to produce
<br/>4.5kg coconut husk chip blocks also adhering to above time.
<br/>
<br/>Note:- Above times may differ due to raw materials availability due to
<br/>rainy season.
<br/>
<br/>* How does "Senarath Lanka" mitigate risks with regards to weather
<br/>affecting delivery on time?
<br/>
<br/>We usually store raw materials for 2 containers in our warehouse which
<br/>is about 40,000kg to mitigate any weather related delays. We also have
<br/>a good network of raw material suppliers with our generations of
<br/>experience in the trade to minimize any delays.
