- About Us : HiI am living in Netherlands and working in IT business since 2 years. My background is that i am originally from alasehir/manisa/Turkey. My father produces grape. But i wanted to do something else other than working in grape fields. So i studied in university to become a computer engineer. And now i am working in netherlands as IT specialist.Back to grapes, the way servet zeybek earn from these grapes is that there are companies or people who buy this grape from us and sell it either to the other countries, or big cities in Turkey. So the local farmer are dependent on those companies or people. What i see is; the price at which they buy it from the producer(the farmer) and the price they sell it to consumers is so different. When i walk around the supermarkets around amsterdam, the normal seedless grapes are sold almost 5 euro per kilo. And The producer (the farmer) is earning only around 40 cents per kilo. So The money is earned by those middle people. What id like to do is bypassing those people. Id like to do business directly with the people who sell it to end consumers. this is better for both farmer and the consumer when there is noone in the between profiting from this.so how can we do this? any ideas or advices or offers are welcome.people in netherlands or neighbour countires with whom i can talk face to face and who are interested in what i mentioned above is very welcome to write to me.thanks for reading.Servet
