Shakti Enterprises, the parent company, was established in the year 1990 with handful of employees with an intention of manufacturing Telecom Equipment and Optical Fiber Cable Accessories. Within 02 years, it got initial recognition and became a major vendor to Optel Telecommunications Ltd Bhopal, a pioneer in the field of Optical Fiber Cable and Systems in India. For almost upto beginning of the year 1995, it served OTL as a vendor. From the year 1995 onwards Shakti Enterprises, started taking type approval from DoT/TEC for products like FDF, Termination Box, Optical Fiber Cable Joint Closures and later DDF and FDMS in a phased manner. 3. The Promoters, Mr. Vivek Malik, a Mechanical Engineering graduate & his brother Mr. Pankaj Malik, a Commerce Graduate along with a handful of dedicated and qualified staff and workers have carved their path with outstanding efforts and vigour. It has reached an annual turn over of Rs. 25 Crores from start of just Rs. 10 lacs in the first year, 1990. 4. From the year 2004, it started manufacturing Telecom Shelters too and has bagged prestigious order from Nortel Networks (India) Pvt. Ltd for BSNL mega GSM Project and supplied 800 nos of telecom shelters. 5. Today after a span of just 16 years, Shakti group is well known for its dedicated and innovative approach. It is now one of the leading Telecom equipment manufacturers in the country, an ISO 9001: 2000 certified Company, supplying the products to BSNL all over India and to other Pvt. Operators.6. This has been possible only with vision, sheer hard work, dedication, persuasion and delivering quality products within required time frame and above all the customers satisfaction. 7. To add one more feather in its cap, the group has set up a PUF sandwiched panel plant in its new and latest unit named as SHAKTI TELEVENTURES at Mandideep Ind. Area, near BHOPAL and the plant is going to produce these panels chiefly to be used in Telecom Shelters and also for cold rooms/cold storage etc. Huge market is going to come up for these panels for cold storage because of many big business houses coming up with their retail chain Pan India basis and will be needing huge storage capacity. The capacity of Shakti group with this expansion will be 650 shelters per month and expected sales is going to touch close to 50 crores during 2011 and 2012.
