Established in 1968, Shandong Crane Works Co., Ltd. is the only professional factory producing bridge type and gantry cranes appointed by Ministry of Machinery Industry in Shandong Province. We are also one of the key enterprises in Shandong Province. With 1, 230 employees, Shandong Crane Works Co., Ltd. covers an area of 143, 000m2, with a factory building area of 18, 160m2 and open-air working place of 22, 000m2. Besides ordinary metal cutting, rivet welding, casting & forging and heat treatment equipment, we also have a pretreatment line for shot blasting and rust eliminating for armor plates and bar sections; a CO2 automatic protection welding line; numerical control gas cutting unloading machines; large-scale closed planers; high, medium and low frequency quenching equipment; ultrasonic wave and light harmless detectors; and paint membrane thickness gauges. In addition, we have a large-scale comprehensive machine performance test platform, which guarantees the product quality and performance. Shandong Lifting and Transporting Machinery Research Institute under the jurisdiction of Shandong Crane Works Co., Ltd. is our product development institute registered in Shandong Science and Technology Commission. Currently, our institute has 68 technicians in all kinds of professions. It consists of 8 well-organized offices, such as machinery, electrics, computer, technical standard and information offices. There are professional designers in machinery, electrics, hydraulic pressure and computer in our company, so we have strong R&D capabilities. For many years, our institute has established good technological cooperation relationships with higher educational institutes and scientific research institutes such as Dalian Science and Engineering University, Shanghai Communications University, Taiyuan Heavy-duty Machine College and Beijing Lifting and Transporting Machinery Research Institute. In the past five years, our institute has developed 23 kinds of new products altogether, among which 12 products have passed the qualification appraisal of provincial level and ministerial level, and have been awarded the prize for progress in science and technology. At present, Shandong Crane Works Co., Ltd. produces mining and port equipment such as 5-800T ***** cranes, 50-240T casting cranes, 5-150T gantry cranes, grab cranes, isolation cranes, electromagnetic cranes, explosion-proof cranes, 800-1600T/h bulk cement shiploaders, 400-3200T/h stacker and reclaimers, 5-50T gantry cranes, container cranes, and harbor cranes. Our product quality has a long standing reputation in our country. Our 5-50T bridge type crane has been appointed as excellent quality product of provincial and ministerial level as far back as in 1981. In 1995, our products were permitted to be exempt from inspection in Weifang City. At the end of 1996, we obtained the production license issued by the National Crane Quality Testing Center in the first group in the same industry. We attained ISO9001 Quality System Authentication in 1998. Our customers spread over 29 regions in China. In 1984, we began to export products to foreign countries such as South Korea, Japan, Malaysia, Vietnam, Burma and Pakistan, Indonesia, and Philippines.
