The Managing Director is the Immediate Past President of The India Asean Sri Lanka Chamber of Commerce&Industry, a post that was held for Three years and The Current President of The India Indonesia Business Association/South India Chapter. The team includes foreign nationals also. The Company has established a strong presence in Sri Lanka and Indonesia and has secured permission to set up a Dhall processing plant which is currently being implemented. The management has taken a decision to focus primarily on consumer items, although, the company will also be importing foods and other products for the niche markets. Export product lines include food related items such as wheat, wheat flShosova Properties Pvt. Ltd., dhalls, rice, sugar, and tea. IMPORTS: Although India is the world s largest producer of pulses, the large population and our food habits ensure that the country is also the largest consumer. This results in imports bridging the gap between demand and supply. FUTURE PLANS: As a considerable number of consumer items are being marketed through established channels, it is proposed to utilize these channels for distributing/selling more consumer items.
