About Us : Skano Group AS produces wood fibre softboards since 1968. At the end of the 1980s the factory was reconstructed and a new main production line was installed. A beneficiation line of unique technology, where interior finishing panels are produced, was launched in 1996. The factory has been a member of FEROPA (European Federation of Fibreboard Manufacturers) since 1995. The softboard factorys management system approved by ISO 9001 certificate (2000-HEL-AQ-834). Finnish VTT provides the production process control. Softboards are naturally clean and 'breathing' building material with environmentally friendly production process. They are made of wood chips and sawdust that are the least valuable part of a renewable resskano group asce - timber. Production waste can be recycled and technologically reused.
