- About Us : Sunwood Export was established in the year 1986 under the able guidance of Mrs. Elizabeth Ruiz, the General Manager of the company. The company was found 30 years back by the name of Elirose Handicraft. Since its founding, Sunwood Export has been manufacturing wood products as well as buri and rattan items which found its way on the global market and later boosted our export capacity. And as years passed by, our product line-up increased which now included woodenwares, picnic screens, basketware, shellcrafts, wind chimes, and other ornamental items. We are looked upon as one of the prominent woodenware suppliers in the Philippines. All our products are exported to various industries dealing in novelty, gifts and houseware displays.Office and Warehouse SpecificationsOur main office and showroom is situated in Paco, Manila, and because its located in the heart of the citys business district, visiting our showroom is convenient for our valued clients because travel time is just minutes away from the airport and vital hotels in the area. Our showroom is comprised of our item line-up which we update regularly in terms of design and seasonal collections. Our warehouse has a total floor area of about 3,000 sq. mts. which is completely roofed with GI sheets to protect the goods prior to loading in container vans.Quality AssuranceFor the assurance of the quality of products that we export, all possible quality tests and control are implemented at our warehouse by our able staff. Moisture contents, color accuracy, sizing and packing are carefully checked one by one to ensure that the products are packed to be of export quality. The daily increase in number of orders represents the quality that we deliver with our products.Our TeamWe have a well qualified and highly experienced team. Our team includes an efficient research and development unit that look after the latest trends and incorporated every minute innovation in the manufacturing process to deliver the best. We also have a dedicated team of regular workers and sub-contractors who work according to the instructions given. We currently have about 20 regular employees and more than a hundred subcontractors to date.Trade ExpositionsWe have been actively participating in international trade exhibitions and trade fairs locally and internationally, among which is the Manila F.A.M.E. International held twice a year every April and October in Manila, Philippines. We also regularly join the Hong Kong Gifts & Houseware Fair held twice a year every April and October in Hongkong.Joining these trade fairs gives us the opportunity to showcase our products and designs which in return grants us our target buyers around the world.ClientsWe have huge clients that is located in different continents around the globe like in USA-50%, Europe-20%, Canada-10%,Asia-15% and Middle East-5%.Production Capacity and Lead TimeWe are capable of shipping out 10 1x40foot container vans per month with production lead time of 60-75 days upon receipt of Confirmed Purchase Order.Minimum Order and Mode of PaymentOur minimum order quantity is US $5,000.00 worth of goods. Payment can either be Telegraphic Transfer or Letter of Credit (LC at sight).
