- About Us : TAN SOON MUI FOOD INDUTRIES had established ourselves in the Desserts and beverages industry for more than 30 years. Back in 1974, Tan Soon Mui Food Industries first opened its doors in Lim Chu Kang in August 1974. Our reputation for producing delicious traditional Asian desserts grew with time. A move to a newer, bigger location in Bukit Batok in 1980 was necessary to meet the growing demand for Tan Soon Mui's quality products. A top sealing machine capable of packing 1600 jelly products per hour was added to the production line. In 1982, owing to our reputation for excellence and top quality products. Another top sealing machine which has the capability to pack 3000 jelly products per hour was added to the production line.By 1988, to further improve our products, packaging and services to our customers, we had invested in research and development with Singapore Institute of Standards and Industrial Research (SISIR) to improve its products' shelf life. This is Tan Soon Mui's commitment to hygiene that led us to investing in a $400,000 pillow vacuum packing machine for its 5 kilogram packs.With increasing demand for Tan Soon Mui products and services, the company moved to our present 1500 square meter Woodlands location in 1993.
