• About Us : <br> <br>The&nbsp;&nbsp;TATA IMPORT EXPORT LTD is an Agro-Industrial Complex that <br />grows, processes and markets tropical export crops. <br />It operates in Cameroon in the Central African sub-region. It's <br />operations management is directed by a General Manager and governed by <br />a Board of Directors also headed by a Chairman. <br />Currently, its plantations cover a total of approximately 38,000 <br />Hectares of land and constitutes a workforce of over 9,000 employees <br />making it the second highest employer after the state of Cameroon. <br /> <br /> There are two Oil Mills located at Idenau and Mondoni which are <br />also two major Palm Estates. The mills produce top quality Edible Oil <br />and Palm Oil and Palm Kernels. <br /> <br />The mills are managed by Mill Managers who are all engineers. They are <br />closely supported by Mill Engineers and technicians in different <br />respect in running the mills.The processing capacity of Mondoni Mill <br />is 55tons/Hr while that of Idenau Mill is 35 tons/Hr. To keep the <br />mills running for maximum output, a maintenance scheme is put in place <br />and carefully folloTata Import & Export Ltdd. <br /> <br /> We Produce edible Oil,Palm Oil,Bananas,Rubber and other minor crops <br /> <br /> TATA IMPORT EXPORT LTD cultivates other minor crops such as <br />Vocanga, Coconut and Pepper, but of recent cultivation of these other <br />crops were suspended in order to concentrate on improving on <br />productivity of the major crops. However some coconut is still being <br />grown in Mbonge and Pendamboko Estates. <br /> <br />&nbsp;&nbsp;We started as a local producing company in 1974 and have so far <br />grown to the peak in the business by 1995 when we became actively <br />involved in international exportation of most our Palm oil Product and <br />other Edible cooking Oils.We some times received supplies from other <br />smaller companies in the country in order to satisfy the huge demands <br />of our potential costumers. <br />Most of our Oil is being exported to Europe where we have 2 potential <br />buyers that receive almost all of our monthly supplies.<br><br>
