- About Us : TAYABAS LIME INDUSTRIES is a single proprietorship owned by the late MR. RAMON S. REYES with more than 45 years of business management experience in various business fields such as Logging, Trucking and Lime Production and Distribution. In September 12, 2002, the company’s ownership was transferred to his youngest son, MR. ALBERT S. REYES who has been actively managing the business since the early 80’s as Production Manager. Graduated with a degree in BS Economics from Adamson University in 1989, his early years of exposure to the business had equipped him with skills and expertise in planning, monitoring and production of the products. Mr. Reyes’s passion and commitment to continue on the family legacy speaks for the company’s current status as one of the leading lime manufacturing plant in the country. Mr. Reyes’s foreign trips, attending symposiums and conventions of Lime Industries in Florida, USA proved to be advantageous especially in the company’s pursuit towards global competitiveness in terms of achieving international standard. Armed with new concepts and innovations acquired this further motivated Mr. Reyes to consistently create progressive development and changes for the improvement of the company and its products. TAYABAS LIME INDUSTRIES is one of the leading pioneers in quicklime processing since 1972. The company is currently operating fTAYABAS LIME INDUSTRIES (4) kilns fire system for Lime Production producing 60 metric tons of quicklime daily. Soon to materialize is the company’s plan to expand that would double and even triple the current production capacity. In the early 70’s & 80’s, the Mining Industry as well as the manufacturing Steel Industry was the clientele of the company. However, on the onset of the 90’s the usage and versatility of lime products gave recognition thus, our clientele expand to include Sugar Industry and Battery Plant Producers. In the 2000’s, lime was used in constructing building, the Waterfront Hotel in Cebu City was a major client. Today lime products are used in various industries such as water treatment, agribusiness and others.
