- About Us : TGS Industrial Sands is one of the leading sand producers within Australia. TGS Sand & Soil P/L produce high quality graded silica sand for the foundry, filtration and other speciality markets. All of the products manufactured by TGS Industrial Sands have been washed, dried and screened to our customers exacting specification. All of our crude material is extracted from our own quarries. Tgs currently own two quarries in Lang Lang and Nyora in Victoria. The crude sand is then washed at the quarry to removed unwanted sand and clay. This is then brought to our new drying and screening plant at Devon Meadows. Our new plant was commission in August 2006 and employs the state of the art technology. The Devon Meadows plant increased manufacturing capacity is sure keep up with the growing demand for our products. We are fully committed to achieving the highest quality products. We have implemented a Quality Management System and have achieved ISO9001 as of January 2007. We are in the process of achieving N. A. T. A. Accreditation for our laboratory
