- About Us : The Choksi Group has been pursuing the pre-set Goals and achieving them since its inception in 1984. The Group initially focused attention to manufacture and marketing synthetic fabrics and has achieved success and provided sustained leadership to South Gujarat Textile Industry. The Group through dynamic leadership of three brothers - Umesh Choksi, Dharmesh Choksi and Rakesh Choksi then ventured into field of Distribution of Liquified Petroleum Gas to cater to the fast growing need of Domestic and Industrial Consumers of Surat. The Group continued to look for further opportunities and with far sighted entrepreneurial capabilities and vision ventured into Entertainment business also. Successful working of the group in all three sectors can be better judged by financial results of last year. Company has also ventured into Construction & Real Estate Business.Textile IndustryWorking at different locations around Udhna and Sachin, (Near by Textile Clusters of Surat Textile Industry) the group occupies about 155,000 sq.ft of built-up area for this business. It still has adequate space for further expansion. The Group has created full fledged facilities to manufacture fabrics, upholstery by installing European Rapier THE CHOKSI GROUPaving Machines (Somet Alpha PGA, Super excel), equipped with Bonas Jacquard attachments to produce a wide variety of fancy fabrics, upholstery. The weaving machines are backed by adequate and modern yarn preparatory such as warping twisting and winding machines to ensure that good quality of yarn is prepared for weaving of high quality fabrics. In addition to the above, the Group installed state of art computerized embroidery machines. This addition has strengthened the design and manufacturing capability of the Group. The Group has engaged in all a men power of about 90 of qualified Managers, Accountants, Technicians, Designers, experienced foreman, skilled workers and unskilled workers for this activity. The Group maintains an R & D division to provide back-up services and for creating innovative designs to sustain and maintain its salience with leadership in Textile industry.Domestic & Industrial GasThe Group is involved with the distribution of LPG Gas and cultivated a 56,900 strong customer base. This division has created a modern set up of 200 strong human resource base with Marketing Manager, Sales Executives, Customer Care Executives, Accountants, Financial Controller, skilled workers and fitters.
