Hand crafting leather products is a dying art and bills passion is working his craft. Bill has worked with amish leather crafters learning to perfect his products. Bill has a leather shop on the small farm he and his wife linda own in shelbyville, ky. He is dedicated to providing quality products at reasonable prices, with a deep commitment to rider safety. In addition to making custom western tack, saddles and other leather products, bill repairs saddles and tack. Bill makes his products one at a time. He uses high quality grade a harness leather and has an eye for details. His products are hand rubbed, with smoothed and darkened leather edges, with precise and even stitching. Many items are double stitched in areas that need extra reinforcement. He uses non-rust heavy duty hardware.
