A bike messenger is without question, one of the most dangerous jobs in the world. Im nearly run over everyday, all day long by hateful contemptable drivers with no regard for human life. This is why I hate NYC with a passion. It's seriously barbaric here. The regard that people have for human life here is literally none. And, im sorry to say it, but (Actually, Im not sorry at all. I prefer to keep it real.) being African American and male does not make it any better. The racial hate, and contempt I continously face here is out of control. Now I can't do anything about the choices people make. But, I can do something about the choices I make. You see, Im not a man of blame, and excuses. Im a man of solutions. (Hense my username: solutions59) I see NYC, and America, actually, for what it really is. A country taken from it's original inhabitants (Native Americans) through genocidal murder, and replaced with a system incapable of providing for, and sustaining it's current inhabitants. Knowledge Is Everywhere Im too old to go back to school and build a new career through college, and moving up the corporate ladder. (Im over 50) Besides, I tried that already, only to run into walls of absolute racist hate and contempt from my so called fellow american. And this includes my own people as Tomba Productionsll. And, I mean these people want me dead, because I will not kiss their ass. Forgive me for being so frank, but Im pretty passionate about this, and it really helps get my point accross. Now, im not into blaming the white man, or other people for my problems, but Im also not lazy, and inactive. If you don't like your current situation, do something about it. But, always start with who you are. Don't be afraid to accept the truth about yourself. Especially in your current environment. In other words, I know that im black, and I know what that means in a place like America. I especially know what that means in a place like NYC. But, even though white people, black people, asian people, or anybody else continously shows me a lot of racisim, contempt, and hate, I can't do anything to change them, or the way that they think. The only person I can do anything about is myself. It is for this reason, I have learned to get out there, and find answers. Not excuses. Your plight, or situation is no excuse for inactivity. And having no college degree is no excuse for not using your brain. The Result Of Choosing This why Im a budding internet marketer, whose been researching this subject for the last 3 years. It's a lot of work, but Im happy to say, that I have amassed a considerable amount of knowledge. I have learned about keywords, webpage optimization, split testing, organic search engine placings, PPC, online classified ad marketing, website building, video editing, and networking using facebook, myspace, twitter, squidoo, tagged, and delicious; I have also learned about affiliate marketing, product selection and sources, tracking results, and building a following using video sites, like daily motion, metacafe, *****, *****, *****, *****, and of course, youtube. And, belive it, or not, this is just SOME of the things I have learned. Who Am I? I didnt think I could just throw up a website, throw some products on it, go take out a few ads, and "sit back, kick up my feet, crack a beer, and wait for the bucks to come rollin in." Thats why I chose to do this study and research to find what really works. Not excuses, ***** solutions. This is who I really am. For if you feed a man a fish, you feed him for a day. But if you TEACH a man to fish, you feed him for a life time. But, no matter what you do, the best decisions you will make will be the ones you make right now. I mean hey, if I can get in shape, and put my own thing together online at 50 years of age, then what's stopping you?
