With our second line we doubled our capacity <span>(50.000tons/year)</span> in 2010.</span></span><br /> <span><span><span>Our production, low carbon steel</span></span></span><span><span>shot<span>,</span> has a wide range application area which is generally used for surface treatment; descaling, etching, deburring etc<span>.</span><span>and also has some advantages when compared to high carbon steel shots.</span> Especially in big foundries, compared to high carbon steel shot, we reach very good results because of less consumption, which is reduced by min. %25 due to longer life time, and less wearing parts on the blasting machines. Furthermore, it has significant and sufficient hardness (40-45 HRC). Because of its bainitic microstructure, it is free from cracks. So, our production, low carbon steel shot, does not wear by breakage like high carbon steel shot. It wears by becoming smaller and smaller but always in a spherical form.
