Later, to cater to the metrology needs of companies, which cannot invest on expensive testing equipment, Unique set up a state of the art metrology laboratory in Bangalore in 1997. The Laboratory was the first in the private sector in India to obtain certification from the National Accreditation Board for Testing and Calibration Laboratories, as per the requirements of international standard ISO/IEC 17025, Unique has got ISO 9001 :2001 certifications through BVQT (Certificate under preparation).With more than 2000 customers spread all over India , Unique has plans on the anvil for setting up similar facilities in other parts of India too.
