• About Us : Ursus Transport Southamerican community have been sharkfishers for generations. But not until recently did we know, that people oround the world treashure the sharkfin. Through a Danish contact we have now established a safe and reliable eksport buisness. Our Danish contact (part of the family since 2002) works pro bono. The goal is to help us build up our community so our families can offord to keep the children in school. To keep up with the standards in the western world, we only use the best (still affordable) international packing and transportation. The shark is parted on sea and kept in iceboxes until we arrive ashore. Up until recently we threw the fins back in to the water together with the head, tail and guts. But now we sundry the fins on deck, so they are ready for shipment when we arrive ashore. To prevent overfishing, the authorities make sure that the amount of fins are equivalent to the number of sharks captured. This is part of the agreement we have with our danish contakt.
