- About Us : Almost 10 years ago, three entrepreneurs started red preserves (plums,mangoes,cherries,etc.,and snacks like kurma) as part of the cottage industry. The three, namely Lee’s, Shanti’s Preserves and Triple A’s realized the utilization of raw materials for the agro-processing was not yet fully developed and this would be good business. There VIDYA ENTERPRISES LTDre challenges to face. The main challenge was the unavailability of equipment and technology for cottage industries, other challenges such as shortages of raw materials, lack of marketing expertise, and home appliances not designed for continuous production caused regular breakdowns saw the parties forming an alliance in 2014 under a new company, namely Vidya’s Enterprises Ltd. (VEL) The name came from Vidya Street where they purchased property to start a modernize facility for 2015. Vidya’s Enterprises Ltd. (VEL) is now producing more than fifty products throughout Trinidad and Tobago. Some of these products include fresh green seasonings and various ground seasonings and condiments. We also wholesale an assortment of dry goods.
