- About Us : Vietnam Timber and Forest Product Association is a non-governmental organization representing the wood processing bussinesses, forestry enterprises, export enterprises, enterprises operating in the field of trading forest products, the agencies of researching and training. The Association is a non-governmental organization operating under the principle of voluntariness, equality and mutual benefit, non-profit and complying with the States law and the Associations charter which was approved with fVIETNAM TIMBER& FOREST PRODUCT ASSOCIATION main functions by the government, as follows: (i) function as a connection between enterprises and government agencies to reflect the thoughts, aspirations and requirements for the State, and recommend policies to promote production, to make power for business community; (ii) Consulting and debating in the fields related to the development of industry and trade of forest products; (iii) Representing the business community to create a relationship of cooperation, mutual support and connection in the business and on behalf of the business community to take part in conferences and seminars at home and abroad relating to wood processing industry; (iiii) Making services for Vietnam enterprises such as introducing new technologies on business, creating human resources and developing them, and supporting businesses to look for customers and trade promotion, expanding export markets, providing information on markets and on consumer tastes of customers and information on trade, prices, economy and business partners.
