(16.9%) and kozack (10%) and all are controlled by, Mine De Kivu produced 34, 800 tons of copper and 3, 040 tons of cobalt in 2010.Wayanani Mines Sprl has invested in a number of oxide copper projects at several of its properties, including an in-situ leaching project in Katanga, and has achieved significant production increases at its underground mining operations. Copper production from internal sources was supplemented by the purchase of some 18, 000 tons of copper in high- grade oxide concentrate bought from within the Democratic Republic of Congo. The company aims to rebuild one smelter during 2013 and 2014, and also plans to add a new gas collection facility and acid plant at a total cost of US$25million, Wayanani Mines has 400 workers and 4 top Managerial Officers comprising of the Directors of Export, Operations, Personnel, Finance, Engineering etc. Wayanani Minerals is the Marketing department of Mine De Kivu and has vast experience in procurement of Ores, refinery and export of the finished product.
