He vowed to produce quality that would be nothing short of the best and yet be economical and within the reach of all. In a short span of time "Weldon" or "Weldon Ink" was a household name. Many years later his son Harveer Singh Sahni setup Weldon Celloplast. The same mindset and ideals were adopted. The company initially produced stationary, plastic moulded goods, adhesives, silicon release papers and tapes. Later the machinery was reset to produce all that was in synergy. The present range of products consists of Silicon release papers, Self adhesive labelstocks, Self adhesive tapes, Security label materials, and a variety of coated products under the brand name "Fasco". The company is continuously expanding to add new and customized coated products while maintaining the promise to "produce the best And yet be economical". With multiple coating lines, the company has capabilities to coat a wide range of adhesive technologies which include Acrylic emulsion, hotmelts and solvent based adhesives in permanent and removable grades. The company produces its own high tech release liners employing various silicone chemistries including coating the solvent free platinum catalyst silicones on its multi roll coater. The company possesses capabilities to produce customized and specially designed label materials at shorter notice. A problem which large multinationals cannot address at short notice. The company recently set up facility to produce security labelstocks and has capability to design security labels depending on individual customer requirement. Weldon is a UL certified ISO: 9001: 2000 company.
