• About Us : August 28th, 1991, YD Works was started as a firm and have been successfully working ever since, At the beginning YD Works were running a steel and metal fabrication workshop, building sea vessels and its repairs- landing craft, barge, Tugs, cargo ships and steel related work of vessels. That was the type of work we had been specialized until 1992 the chairman Mr. Yoosuf Donmanik AKA Mr. YD decided to expand his work to the next level which was to widen his company towards building and construction. Construction Work was our next step that time and it have been leading us towards many varities of work in the industry, from that we have been doing construction of multi story buildings ,ware houses, steel structures , steel towers, road Maintaining , sewerage network, water network, building sea wall and all types of construction and infrastructure related works, until 2004 December where we took a further step which was the opening of our sales outlet, A.V.A Hardware. A.V.A Hardware was our first Hardware store where we sold different types of hardware and building materials, our test shop was a great successes even though there were big corporations to compete with. When A.V.A Hardware was stable and fully been operating successfully another branch of the store in Hulhumale the future city of the Maldives, A.V.A Hardware 1, was opened in 2007 march, where our main products were cement, sand, aggregate and construction related items. In 2010 YD Works started to lease heavy and light vehicles and tools to other construction company, and ever since leasing is been expanded and in 2012 company have gone into Real Estate business. *AKA = also known as
