• About Us : Rocha Internacional Importation & Exportation is a registered company from Florianopolis, in the state of Santa Catarina, Brazil. Originally, as U. S. importers of crystals & minerals from Brazil, Rocha Internacional Exportation & Importation, Brazil always found the products and prices wonderful but were often very dissatisfied with the customer service we found from the great majority of companies we were dealing with in South America. Simple things; from giving solid price quotations & answering emails promptly and concisely to sending contracts (and the actual products ordered) within the time frame specified were missing from the services provided. . . We then decided that with a simple western business model providing excellent products and full customer service within Brazil would be quite successful and refreshing to importers worldwide, and we were correct. We opened the company in early 2005 and began using the internet to promote our Brazilian products and to find buyers we could form business relationships with, rather than just making a quick sale and moving onto the next client. This line is 100% handmade in the North of Brazil from corded cotton. The advantage to the Brazilian Hammock is its design, it is fabricated to be beautiful and completely comfortable. Over 50, 000, 00 homes in Brazil have at least one Hammock hanging either in or out of doors, as they make a beautiful addition to any room in the home and to the patio and are designed to be used as a bed. The Brazilian hammock is very strong and durable and wares well with age, like a pair of Levi jeans that become more comfortable after the first years of wearing them. The colors are as brilliant and bright as carnival in Brazil and are available in a variety of beautiful colors and styles to choose from. The Brazilian Hammock is the most comfortable on the market because it does not use the typical wooden spreader bar, as seen in most hammocks. This allows it to sculpt to the body and the number of people sitting in it. Also an added bonus is that with the spreader bar subtracted it makes the hammocks much lighter, take up much less space when in storage and making them ultimately much cheaper to ship. Our Hammocks are available in all the current colors from our manufacturers, but specific colors can be special ordered. Our minimum order is 100 units and our maximum order is only based upon product availability from our manufacturers. With the proper amount of lead time and preparation, an order of any amount can be easily produced.
