- About Us : Rustad Spring AS would like to get in touch with serious buyers of natural drinking water. Rustad Spring bottling plant is located 170 km north of Oslo, Norway. We are filling Natural Spring Water in environmental friendly cardboard cartons, size 500 ml (0,5 liter)and 1000 ml (1 liter), for export only. The water from Rustad Spring has since 1996 been approved according to the European regulations for Natural Spring Water, and the bottling plant was established in 1998. (You can see the European requirements to Natural Mineral Water and Spring Water at the end of this document.) We can put you in touch with the owners of existing trademarks, if desired, or we can fill the water in your own brand of cartons. Prices ex works our plant, depending of volume ordered per year. Please contact us and we will give you an offer based on approximate volume per year. What is Natural Mineral water and Spring Water? Natural mineral water and Spring Water is almost the same, just some small differences. It is water of good microbiological quality, created by a groundwater body and utilized through one or several wells of natural or artificial origin. Natural mineral water is characterized by: a) its inherent nature, the contents of minerals, trace elements or other constituents, and by possibly having specific effects and b) by its original condition. Both these properties are intact because the water has its origin in the ground, protected from any risk of contamination. 2. Spring water: water of good microbiological quality that was created by a groundwater body that is protected against any risk of contamination and utilized through one or more natural or artificial origin. Spring water is characterized also by its chemical water quality as regular drinking water. 3. Groundwater occurrence is a limited volume of ground water in one or more than one groundwater reservoir.
