- About Us : The company was formally know as Westley Engineering Ltdstley Richards - Tools Division. The name was changed in 1997 to reflect the direction the company was going. There was no change to any of the personnel. However, the name Westley Richards was kept for the bespoke sporting gun manufacturing side of the business which had started in 1812 and is ranked amongst the top three sporting gun manufacturers within the world. Westley Engineering Ltd., produce Small to medium sized Precision Pressings in medium to large volumes, serving a number of different sectors, including; Automotive, Electronics, Aerospace, Window Hardware, Air conditioning, Battery connectors, renewable energies, and the Building Trade, to name but a few. Our Press-shop houses nearly 30 presses, that range from 20 Tons upto and including 160 Tons. Our in-house tool-room has got the latest in CNC machinery for Vertical machining centres, wire cutting and EDM'ing. We Design & Manufacture tools for our own in-house use and also for external customers. We manufacture precision bespoke (1 off's and small volumes) components from our Vertical 3 axis CNC machining Centres. We are externally certified to ISO 9001, TS16949 & AS9100 (Aerospace). All prices quoted are very competitive, deliveries are excellent with a standard of workmanship that will keep you talking about it, long after you have forgotten the price.
